I have tried to ReFILE and I get an error message saying: CRA Result Code 686

Did you receive your NOA before trying to RefIle? You can't use Refile unless you have received an NOA for the return.

@chorbay Error 686 The Canada Revenue Agency cannot process this ReFILE due to system constraints. You must wait until you have received your Notice of Assessment before submitting any adjustment requests. This is important for a couple of reasons. First, an early adjustment request may lead to unnecessary delays in processing time for both the original return and the adjustment. Secondly, CRA may adjust your original return for you.
