I have a letter from work that says INCOME TAX RECEIPT at the top. i was told i need to enter the amount in "line 212 Deductions" but i cannot find this?

it is not T4, it is just a letter with an amount (that i paid for Union Dues when i signed up). i don't know how to enter this in my taxes...

To find the correct place to enter this information, please follow these steps:

Open your Return
On the left menu panel, click on Deductions
Under Deductions, click on Payments Profile
Under Payments Profile, scroll down and click on Union or Professional Dues
On the right side of the web page, enter the information from your document.

Make sure to click on Continue located on the bottom right of the page to save the information you just entered.
