I was wondering if my taxes were done yet

If you use Netfile to file your tax return, you would have seen a confirmation number on your screen when done. If you have signed up to receive email from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), you will receive an email from them saying they will process your tax return. In order to know if it is approved or done, the CRA will send you a Notice of Assessment in your CRA My Account along with a notification to your email after they have assessed it. You should receive a Notice of Assessment (NOA) within 2 to 8 weeks. Your refund will be issued to you after they assess your return.
