Question

Missed a receipt for the Saskatchewan home renovation tax credit in 2021. I refiled, and it reduced my amount owing to $0.12. Yet I've already paid the amount I owed.

Because it is showing that I am still owing money, the program is saying "continue without making changes." How do I get a refund for the amount I already paid?

    If you REFILE your return and the CRA owes you money, then they will deposit it into your account or send you a cheque.

     

    If you have a spouse, there is no need to REFILE their returns if there are no changes to their return.
