Question

My son turned 18 in Feb 2022. He also finished high school in 2022 and has worked full time since then.He still lives with us at home. Who should claim his medical .

Should we, his parents, claim the medical expenses or should he claim them.

    You can still claim Medical Expenses for your child over 18. This TurboTax FAQ shows you how: How do I enter medical expenses for dependants over 18?

     

    But if you son is working full time, he may need to enter the medical expenses on his own return if he has taxes owing.
