Using TurboTax, how do you get foreign tax credits to show up in a T2209 (and line 40500 of your tax return)?
I am trying to get my foreign tax credits to show up on form T2209 and, subsequently, on line 40500 of my tax return. I used the Find function to go to Foreign Tax Credit. I filled in my foreign taxes paid and TurboTax calculated my federal non-business foreign tax credit. However, that tax credit does not show up on line 40500 of my tax return; it shows up elsewhere (although I'm not sure where).
