When i file as common law with dependants does the child tax go to my partner or myself?

i have 2 dependants and receive the child tax credits.  when i am filing this year do i still get the child tax or my partner.  i do not want him to get the child tax as he will spend the money every month and not give it to me.

    You can continue claiming as you did other years. No change is needed.
