2019 taxes/stimulus check

I am on SSI, my husband is unemployed and we have 1 kid under 17. At the end of March I chose to file married jointly with my husband just to make sure our info was in the system (I know big mistake) well we did have gambling winnings so I filed with the whole $50 dollar winnings. Well that was March 30th and I have not received my stimulus check and says my return is  still being processed.

Did I mess up our chances of getting out check?

As long as you and your spouse otherwise qualified for the stimulus based on the requirements, you did not cause any issues by filing jointly. Filing jointly actually ensures the most favorable tax rates. You can visit our Stimulus Registration tool here to check eligibility for the stimulus.
