Thanks for the information.

I realize the tax issue I have is with my 2019 Fed taxes (my typo earlier - sorry). I e-filed both state and Fed taxes on the same day and they were accepted on the same day. State tax refund was sent very quickly. Fed web site to find out where my refund is just lists return in process and has been that way since March of 2020. I Cannot get anyone from the IRS that knows any more information than what is on the web site.

How can I get some help?

Try calling to check the status of your refund at the IRS website.

When asked for SSN do nothing it will ask twice

You should then be transferred to an agent, but there is likely to be a long wait.

If they can't assist you can try the Tax Advocate in your state. most are working remotely and have a backlog.
