I need to file amended 2021 & 2022 tax returns using the form 1040-X. Having trouble getting the turbo tax software which I purchased to generate the 1040-X (as it is only generating form 1040). Can anyone possibly walk me through how to restart my progress on the turbotax 2021 & 2022 downloaded software, or problem solve so I can generate form 1040-X?

To complete a federal amended tax return using the desktop editions -
Continue the tax return that needs to be amended
Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)
Click on Other Tax Situations
Under Other Tax Forms
On Amend a return, click on the start or update button
Enter your E-mail address. We'll send you an e-mail with instructions to reset your password.
