$25 fee 5 days early

I paid the $25 fee to get my return 5 days early and it states on my transcript my return will hit on February 24th. What day should I receive my deposit?

Remember that the “”5 day early” date is based on the date given to you on the IRS refund site—-not the date the TT site shows in your account. If your refund does not come in five days ahead of the IRS date, they are supposed to cancel the $25 fee.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

Watch your own bank account. The TurboTax site is not going to update to show your refund date.

I cant get a straight answer from anyone. My transcript says 2/24 and I paid for the 5 days early so it should be here today. But I doubt it’s coming today. Just goes to show you shouldn’t trust turbo tax. They do something shady like this every year. It says “5 days early guaranteed” that was a lie.
