After I finished form 8379 it asked if I wanted to file one post said not to amend the taxes but to repost my information how do I do that

    You do not need to amend your return to file form 8379 after you have filed your return. Form 8379 is a stand-alone form.

     

    Do not include a copy of your filed tax return if you send in Form 8379 by itself. This will only slow things down.

     

    Please read this IRS document for more information.

     

    You'll send your filled form 8379 to the IRS Service Center where you would normally send your tax return.

     

    Please read this IRS document to find the address where to send your form 8379.
