Question

A form on my return says "Do Not File - Form Not Ready" but I've already filed. What now??

I e-filed my federal and state return already and I filed form 8379 (Injured Spouse) with it. We really need this form to be with our return, but when I open up my return, this file says "Do Not File - Form Not Ready." Does this mean that this form was NOT filed with the rest of my return?? When I tried a few days before, Turbo Tax told me the form wasn't ready and wouldn't let me file. But this time when I checked, it went through with no problems, but the form itself still says it's not ready. When I did a search on Turbo Tax right after I realized it (same day), it said the form IS ready. I'm so confused! Did the form get filed with my return or not? What can I do? We really need the form to be with our return!

the IRS won't be sending out acceptance/rejection e-mails until at least 1/27.  wait to see if you get a rejection, then you can resubmit with the form which is now ready.   if you get an acceptance e-mail, you'll have to talk to TT to find out.  the reason is that normally TT blocks e-filing with improper forms.   So I don't think anyone on the forum can tell guarantee you if it was included.
