So worried filed federal tax on Jan 11 2020 waiting for acceptance from IRS. I’m still pending I know someone who filed Jan 15 and received IRS acceptance email on the Jan 21st. I am trying to file early will my file date be Jan 11 or date IRS accepts it. Is my return stuck or is there something wrong with my return

No particular problem...the IRS was only pulling a few test tax returns early....some people got luck (or unlucky if they messed up by filing so early)

Unless yours just happens to get pulled early for a test by the IRS.....don't expect anything to happen until "sometime" the week of 27 Jan.

That's when the IRS officially expects to start pulling tax files at random, and accepting-or-rejecting them.
