Accidentally answered the health insurance question wrong making my taxes believe that I made excess contributions to my HSA. Do i need to amend?

Wait to see if your return is either Accepted or Rejected. If your return gets rejected, you can fix it and re-file your return. If it's already accepted, you should still wait to see if the IRS will correct it. If they don't, then file the amendment. The amendment software isn't ready yet anyway so you may as well wait and see if you can avoid filing it.
