Question

Accidentally put dependent twice on state tax how do I edit that???

The dependents are entered on the federal side of the program, which then flows to your state return.

 

To delete a dependent that was entered twice:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Click on Personal Info.
  3. Scroll down and click on the trash can icon next to the dependent you would like to delete.
