I filed 3/11/21 and have been waiting patiently. While waiting to receive the 1800 turbo tax quoted me I receive notice I will be billed pre tax return in my bank account. Then 4 months later I only received 602.00. why am I paying for a service that hasn't been provided and wasnt accurate with information that I used to base a decision as to use the service or not. I would not have spent 110 to receive 602 instead of the 1800. I do not agree with this. Alan Miller

Ok ... so did your $1800 fed refund consist of the stimulus credit alone? If so the IRS concluded that you already got the first stimulus check of $1200 last year so you don't get it again the second time. So your refund is reduced to the $600 of the second stimulus payment PLUS $2 of interest. This is not a TT error if you entered the incorrect amount of stimulus payments received in the program.

If you are sure you did NOT get the first stimulus paid out last April thru June then you can have the IRS trace the missing payment so it can be reissued.
