Search your computer for a tax file with the extension:   ".tax2023"

Note what directory it is located in...(or is it on a Cloud drive?)

Then go to the upper-left corner of your TTX screen and select ...<File<<Open Tax Return.

Then navigate to that file and select it to open.

    Complications:

    1)  Never operate off of, or save directly to a USB-connected drive....always save to your computer hard disk, then copy-paste to the USB drive for a backup.

    2) If you've been working on a cloud drive (OneDrive or the like), the software might lose track of where the file is located...especially if you haven't logged into that cloud drive before you started up TTX.

    3)  Remember to save your file occasionally as you work thru the software, so that the latest file is already saved.
