If you scheduled a direct debit, and then pay now, you run the risk of paying twice.

You can cancel your direct debit request by phone call to the IRS if you act timely.

I want to know once you submit the tax file with turbotax...what options do they give to pay the self employment tax and federal and state tax?  I want to pay those tax amounts directly on IRS.gov and my state gov site

if that's what you want, then

when you file, select the option "I'll mail a check".

you must have selected some payment option.

you do not have to go through Turbotax to make the e-payment. just make sure you did not up through TT to make the payments (direct debit selected on tax returns)
