Question

After I’ve completed filing my return, how soon will I get it? When can I expect to see my return in my bank account?

The IRS will not be accepting or rejecting any 2020 federal tax return until late January 2021.

If your tax return is Accepted the IRS target is to provide the tax refund within 21 days after receiving the tax return.  This is a target only and Not a guarantee.

So expect to receive the tax refund in mid to late February. 

Providing there are no issues with your federal return which would require more processing time by the IRS.
