Question

After receiving a letter asking me to amend my tax return, I was then debited immediately, and haven't even received my return yet. Why wouldnt they take it from my retu?

It is not clear to us what happened.  What letter did you get that requested that you amend your tax return?  Was it a letter from the IRS?  What did it tell you to change?  The debit from your account for your TurboTax fees at that time may have been just coincidence, based on how long ago you filed your tax return.

 

TURBOTAX TOOK MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT

 

Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund?  Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive?  Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account.  TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.
