I received an alert my file had been updated but there is no change on its website or turbo tax

This is normal and TurboTax does not have information once your return is accepted. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update. The IRS will have the most up to date information, but you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund.
