Amend
After filing taxes early, we noticed we had made an error on the Covid relief payment of $1200 we received in January of 2021 thinking that it was not 2020 income. We tried to submit an amendment but as it had not been accepted by IRS we were advised that we could not submit an amendment at that time. We did correct out mistake on our copy of Turbo Tax. It has been accepted by IRS but do we need to resubmit an amendment at this time or did this correct the amount on the original submission?
