Amend return for stimulis

I might owe money for after they deduct the stimulis money that I incorrectly answered yes to. I would like to change the return for 2021 so I can pay them before the April deadline so I don't owe them any penalties. How can I do that?

If your e-filed return is pending, you will not be able to make any changes until it is accepted or rejected by the IRS. After that, you can amend your return. Please see How to amend (change or correct) a return you've already filed for more information.
