Hello members,

In 2018 I have RSU vested, and some of RSU were sold to cover the tax. The RSU tax information was on the W2 which was reported. However, in tax return, I forgot to provide the 1099B from my broker(I did not sell any of the share). In this case, since the tax information was already on W2, do still I need to amend the 2018 tax return with this 1099?

Yes, you should amend your 2018 income tax return if you forgot to enter the 1099-B, Proceeds From Broker and Barter Exchange Transactions, tax form. See Do I need to amend?
