amended 1098

I received an amended 1098 form for 2020. All that changed on it was box 2 (outstanding mortgage principal) it was blank before now it has a number in it. Do I have to amend my taxes because of it?

    No--and it would do nothing even if you did.   It is too late to amend a 2020 tax return and change the refund.
