I filed with TurboTax in Feb 2021, Amended my return via TurboTax and sent it in the mail which was received June 2021. The amended return was completed according to the Where’s my Ammended Return tool as of January 7th, I got a notice dated December 21st saying I’d get my return in two to three weeks. I’ve been calling the entire time since July. It’s now March 2022 and still nothing in sight. I called the IRS tax advocate service and they told me that I needed to contact the regular IRS line and there is nothing they can do for me. They have said repeatedly the refund is not being held or stopped for anything. I can’t get through to anyone in the IRS, have called every day all day long. Due to covid, my job shut down and I couldn’t pay rent but the IRS kept saying they would send my check in 2-3 weeks. It’s been almost a year now and I’m at wits end. I filed this years taxes and it’s supposed to be around $7,000 like the last return I never received and it doesn’t even show on the irs website and I filed March 3rd. It tells me to give it 24 hours, which it has been. Honestly I’m only 22 with two kids but claimed one and I’m at a complete loss. Any help is appreciated.

What does Where's My Amended Tax Return say now and what did the IRS tell you the last time you spoke with them?     Here are all the IRS contact numbers.
