I went through the process to amend my 2020 tax return but the files did not change. Was not e-filed with IRS or state. What did I do wrong?

You did not do anything incorrectly. You will be able to amend your tax return in TurboTax until 03/25/2021. Until then, your amended return will remain the same. You can check back on that date. If it still has not changed, please post again in this thread.
