Amending an accepted tax return from a prior year, do you re-enter all of your infor? Articles indicate that you only enter items that need correction but Turbo Tax asks
Confused about what to enter but I may be answering my own question. I was unable to transfer the prior year's tax return file done with TT after getting a new machine. Now, that I need to amend that return, TT software ask for all info rather than just the items that need to be corrected. Is this becuase it needs to build the base and will ultimately ask about and focus in on the errors? Anyone have any experience with this?
