Question

Are we supposed to get stimulus after tax refund? I filed my taxes and since I never got any stimulus payments it was added in to my tax refund but I just got one now?

I got my full tax refunds back as of last week but I just noticed I got the EIP3 stimulus payment today and now I want to be sure I won't be in trouble.

You won't be in trouble. Your tax refund included the first two stimulus payments (EIP1 and EIP2), but not the third payment (EIP3).

The filing of the 2020 return released the third stimulus payment ... all is as it should be.
