Based on previous experiences, how long does it usually take to get to the adjusted bar on the refund tool once an amended return has been received by the IRS???

I am wondering if you amended correctly.  An amended return has to be filed on a special form called a 1040X which can only be printed, signed and mailed.  It cannot be e-filed.  About three weeks after you mail it, you can check it on a special IRS site for amended returns.  It actually takes about 4 months for the IRS to fully process an amended return.
