I have judgments against me in total of 4000.00 can they take my tax return?

The IRS or state can seize (offset) a refund for back taxes, child support, or delinquent student loans, or in some states for certain outstanding debts like traffic violations. TurboTax never knows if there is an order to offset a refund.
