Can I access my 2011 and 2010 tax returns?

neither the IRS nor Turbotax maintain copies going back that far.  The general rule is they only keep returns for 6 years. so if you didn't keep your own copies, they're gone forever.  However the Social Security Adm has W-2 records going back to  1978
