Question

Can i add my wife’s W2s to our tax returns when they are already submitted and pending. They have been pending for weeks. I forgot to put her W2s in while filing jointly.

    No, you can't add the W-2 after you've filled your tax return.

     

    Pending means that your e-filed return is on its way; however, the government hasn't accepted it.  They still need to review and verify it before approving it.

     

    Your tax returns will remain Pending until the IRS has pulled the tax returns from the TurboTax servers.
