Can i amend a 2017 tax return on my computer (I have used turbo tax for years) from my turbo tax 2020 that I now have.

i recently received an amended W-2 for 2017. I had previously bought 2017 Turbo Tax Deluxe and can no longer find the disk. Can I amend this 2017 tax return on my recently purchased 2020 Turbo Tax Deluxe?

I'm sorry, but the answer is no since you would need to be able to open your original 2017 tax return. You must amend the tax return using the program for that year. If you have your tax data file, you could purchase another copy of the 2017 program, but that's the only way.
