Do not amend your return until it is fully processed and you have received your refund or paid your tax due.

You mean that you already e-filed and want to change something?  No.   You cannot change anything while your e-filed return is in pending.   It is going to be in pending on a server until the IRS begins to accept/reject 2021 returns late in January or early February.  Until then, you cannot do anything to fix your mistake.   If the IRS rejects it, you can fix it and re-file it.   If the IRS accepts it, you will have to wait for it to be fully processed before you can amend it.
