can i delete an incorrect entry for a financial instutions

    Yes, you can delete an entry to a  Financial Institution.

    I expect this is a 1099-INT, 1099- DIV or similar 1099 record.

     

    Please follow these steps to edit or delete a 1099 form

     

    1. Under Federal on the left sidebar
    2. Select Wages & Income
    3. On the drop down menu
    4. Scroll to Investments and Savings1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, Crypto Gain/Loss Report [Add/Edit]
    5. Select the 1099 that you want to change
    6. Click [Review]
    7. Select the financial institution you want to delete
    8. Click the Trash Can on the right side.
    **Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
