If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2024 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

Short answer is no. This was a 2023 on line return I was filing late in 2024 which is another whole can of worms. I never completed that 2023 return. I was charged duplicated fees before it was completed and only reimbursed a portion of such. I ended up doing a paper return completed on my own. The deletion was attempt to prepare for 2024 tax return. So I’m out $158, the return is still sitting there incomplete, and I’m going to use a different company tax preparation service. So long TurboTax.
