Question

Can I fix a 1099-DIV form has MN for our state rather than NM, so I'm getting a "wrong zip code" message. I don't know how to fix this.

It sounds like this may have happened when importing the 1099-DIV.  If that is the case, I recommend deleting it, and manually entering the 1099-DIV.

Here's how to do this in TurboTax Online:

    1. Navigate to Federal Taxes in the upper left, then Wages and Income.
    2.  Add or Edit Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto) > Add/Edit
    3. Choose Add Investments
    4. Choose "Enter a different way"
    5. Select 1099-DIV and continue
    6. Either upload or choose "Type it in myself"
    7. Enter the information from the 1099-DIV requested in the interview
