Can I print a 1099 NEC or do I have to have the form from irs

    Do you mean can you use a downloaded copy of your 1099-NEC that you printed? Please clarify.

    The IRS wants you to send them the actual Red copy using the official red forms.  You can give your contractors a copy you printed.   If you use Quick Employer Forms the forms are efiled to the IRS do you don’t have to mail them to the IRS.
