If I inserted the wrong bank account number on my tax return document, will it be possible to amend after submitting?

No. After you file there is no way to make changes.

If you entered the wrong bank account, hopefully the bank rejects the deposit when it comes in. Generally if your name is not on the account when the deposit comes in, this will happen. Then the refund will go back to the IRS and they will mail you a paper check.

You cannot amend your return for an incorrect bank account.
