I don’t understand what you mean by “Can I recover taxes for 2021.” You can still file a 2021 income tax return to claim a refund.

The IRS allows you to claim a refund within three years from the due date of the original tax return or two years from the date you paid the tax, whichever is later.

You can only prepare the current tax year online in TurboTax. To file prior year returns, buy the prior year programs and install them on your computer.

Go to File your 2021 taxes and File your 2020 taxes.

The third stimulus payment will be added to your 2021 refund as a Recovery Rebate Credit, if you qualify.

If you did not receive the first two payments, you can file a 2020 return. If you filed a 2020 return, you can amend.

If you used TurboTax in 2020 and/or 2021 you can amend your return for free.
