Can I remove a field in the uncompleted list of tax breaks? I just learned that I actually do not need to file 1098-T but there's still an incomplete section for it.

I accidentally said that I need to fill out a 1098-T form for 2018 but I just learned that that is actually incorrect. How do I remove this field?

To remove an educational credit:

1. Click Federal on the left-hand side menu.

2. Click Deductions & Credits across the top.

3. Scroll down to Education and click Show more.

4. Click Start or Revisit by Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T).

Delete the one that you erroneously entered.
