Can I separate refund between next year and rest in check?

How do I split refund between refund and carryover to next year

You should be able to.  You'll enter the portion of your refund that you wish to apply to next year's federal tax liability.  The program should then show that you have the remaining portion of your refund available.  When the program asks how you wish to receive this refund, you'd just select by check.  See the info I'm linking below for instructions.
