Can I update a wrong choice I made on my tax return regarding qualifying a child living with me for the year. I assumed no because she was born in August.

I read that the child being born in the tax year qualifies, and also medical related issues.

A child born during the year is considered as having lived with you the WHOLE year. If necessary, you should edit and change the info on that child.
