Can someone explain how the Efile works? Never asked for my routing or bank #?

It sounds as if you have neither efiled or paper filed your 2016 tax return.  If this is the case and you want your refund to be direct deposited, just open your tax return and click on the File tab at the top right of your screen.  Go through all of the questions and add your bank's routing and account numbers.  Continue through the questions in this section, and if you want to efile, select Efile or else you will be given the option to paper-file. If you have any questions please look at the Link below and ignore the (through October 17, 2016) date.
