can't find the amend option for 2021 taxes

Hi All,

I have already filed my 2021 taxes a while back in Feb, and know it has been received by the IRS and paid my taxes (the amount got taken out from my bank account a couple weeks ago). However, I realized I overpaid my taxes because forgot to include my college tuition as a deductible and would like to amend my 2021 tax return.

I currently have the desktop app. However, whenever I try to follow the online instructions, I cannot seem to find the "Amend my return" button all the online steps keep on referring to. The only button that I can find is "done" which takes me back to the homepage...where again there is no "amend" option. I've made sure my app is up to date, too. Am I missing something?

Since you are using desktop software look at the tool bar on the top of your software screen. Do you see Other Tax Situations? Click that page and start scrolling down to Amend a tax return.
