Question

Can you see changes in refund statis before you submit and ammend form to assure you want to make the changes or just leave it the way it is?

When you start amending your tax return in TurboTax, the refund/tax due counters are reset to zero.

 

After you finish amending, the counters will show the tax due/refund created by the amendment. In fact, the counters show the difference with your original returns.
