You cannot change your banking information after your tax return has been filed. When you are ready to file your 2020 tax return you will enter your banking information in the FILE section. That information does not go from TT to the IRS until your 2020 return has been filed and accepted. If a payment sent from the IRS goes to a closed or wrong account, it will be sent back to the IRS and then the IRS will mail you a check.
