You don't have to indicate anywhere on your return HOW you will make this year's estimated payments. You can pay them however you want. When you are ready to make estimated payments, visit this link at the IRS to see your options. The EFTPS allows you to make automatic payments if you prefer.

If you already entered payment data for a payment on the return you are about to file, go back through the Filing Steps and change your choice to Pay by Check - that will remove anything that has been scheduled.
